Modes of delivery

Whilst many QSi courses are delivered online, we also have a rich heritage of delivering in-company bespoke courses tailored to meet with your specific organisational needs. This may include subject matter from ‘back-to-basics’ through to specialist management and leadership training. All courses are accredited by QSi and all our tutors and materials are internally moderated before delivery. QSi also host 1 day CPD courses and short breakfast seminars, so please watch the main news and events page for further information.

All QSi courses have been through our rigorous internal QAA standards and are delivered by industry practitioners with a minimum of 20 years’ experience within the sector. Urban overheating and frequent, extreme and extended heatwaves have significant impact on energy, health, thermal comfort, environment and the economy. Green infrastructure can alleviate urban temperatures, cool the surrounding environment, improve thermal comfort and human health, promote psychological balance, and make cities more attractive. Green infrastructure may be part of urban landscapes, parks, streets, hedges, open spaces and integrated into buildings through green roofs and vertical gardens. The aim of this CPD event is to provide an evidence-based understanding on the different types of green infrastructure and their potential role in the mitigation of urban overheating, helping participants identify the different green infrastructure strategies that can be adopted in the natural and built environment.
